A career as a travel agent is appealing to many people for a number of reasons. You can form the working hours you desire—whether that’s 8:00-5:00 or a flex schedule. You also get to help people plan something FUN. There can be opportunities for training trips in some amazing destinations. This career can also be lucrative if you work hard and are smart about your work. As an independent contractor, you will have the freedom to build your travel business the way you want to. However, it also requires diligence, hard work, dedication, business development, research, and more.
