Onboard Activities During Your Cruise
Pre-Booked Activities Booking Date
The date you are able to book your onboard activities depends upon your Castaway Club level status. Your travel agent will advise you as to the specific date, but please reach out to your agent if you have any questions or concerns.
What Onboard Activities are Pre-Booked?
The following onboard activities that can be pre-booked include, but are not limited to:
Adult Exclusive Dining - see our Dining Page for more information
Beverage/Food Tastings: mixology, whiskey, wine, beer, chocolate, and more
Spa & Wellness: you can book individual spa appointments and/or you can purchase the Rainforest Pass, which lets you visit the spa amenities throughout your cruise
Makeovers: children aged 3-12 can get themed makeovers at the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique. Certain sailings may also offer limited specific themed makeovers such as Pirate, Frozen, Marvel, or more, on specific days.
Specialty Tea Parties: Royal Court Tea and Olaf’s Royal Picnic. These are fun, but not a must do in our opinion.
Childcare in the Small World Nursery for infants and toddlers.
Royal Gathering (princess meet and greet): this is complimentary and done 30 days out from your cruise, of which your travel agent will remind you.
How and When Do I Book Onboard Activities?
You can begin booking your onboard activities on your Disney Cruise account either on the browser or your Disney Cruise Line Navigator app. Booking opens at midnight on the designated date, so technically you can book it the night before. For example, if your booking date is May 5, you will actually book right at the stroke of midnight on the evening of May 4 (or 11PM Central on May 4 for those on Central time).
Included Onboard Entertainment
Most of the onboard activities and entertainment do not have to be booked in advance AND are not going to be listed at this time. You'll get the full slate of information upon boarding. Most activities are included in your cruise fare and you just show up! So anything you book on your designated reservation date is just extra and fun, but not required at all to have a good time! Examples of onboard entertainment and activities that do NOT have to be prebooked include, but are not limited to:
Nighttime evening Broadway-style shows
Kids’ and Teen Clubs ages 3+
Bingo
Most character interactions (with the exception of the Royal Gathering)
Trivia
Atrium entertainment
Crafting activities
