Traveling became part of Joy’s story at a young age, beginning with her first visit to Walt Disney World. From the start, she was captivated not only by the magic of Disney, but by the way travel could bring people together and create memories that last a lifetime.

As she grew older, Joy’s love for travel expanded well beyond theme parks. While in high school, her parents worked incredibly hard to give her the opportunity to take a cross-country trip and back—an experience that opened her eyes to the beauty of traveling beyond her hometown and discovering what this country, and the world beyond it, have to offer. That journey helped shape her appreciation for travel as a meaningful way to learn, connect, and grow. 

After marrying her husband, Michael, travel became a cornerstone of their family life. Their honeymoon also marked their first blended-family vacation, as they brought their children, Blake and Addy, to Walt Disney World. In 2018, their youngest son, Eli, joined the family, allowing Joy to experience travel—and Disney—through the eyes of a new generation. Over the years, travel has played a powerful role in strengthening family bonds, creating shared traditions, and building memories that continue long after the vacation ends.

Traveling with a medically complex child gave Joy invaluable firsthand experience in accessible travel planning and navigating Walt Disney World’s Disability Access Service (DAS). Through this journey, she saw just how much thoughtful planning can make a difference, ensuring that every member of a family feels supported, included, and able to fully enjoy their vacation.

As Joy’s family continued to travel, her passion for planning naturally grew alongside it. She discovered how a well-crafted plan can completely transform a vacation—reducing stress, maximizing experiences, and allowing families to truly be present together. What began as a personal love for travel evolved into a calling to help others experience that same joy.

Today, Joy specializes in planning vacations to Disney destinations, Universal Orlando Resort—including Universal Studios Florida, Islands of Adventure, and Epic Universe—as well as cruises with Disney Cruise Line, Royal Caribbean, and beyond. She understands that theme park and cruise vacations benefit greatly from expert guidance and takes pride in creating customized plans that fit each family’s unique needs and travel style.
